“The 2012 Cuvée Blanc is a blend of 95% Semillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc. Showing hints of fig, tangerine oil, lemon zest and again caramelized grapefruit and other assorted citrus, this is a beautifully aromatic wine with medium to full-bodied flavors. It is dry, lusty, and probably an ideal accompaniment to intensely flavored fish and poultry dishes, given its intensity. Drink it over the next 4-6 years.”

The new vintage of PALAZZO 2012 Cuvee Blanc is once again inspired by the great Bordeaux Blancs of France . and is a 'beautifully balanced & elegant' food wine, made predominately from the wonderfully exotic & aromatic Semillon grape, with just a touch of Sauvignon Blanc blended in for 'finesse & structure'. The nose is 'floral & seductive' with intense tropical aromas of guava & passion fruit, hints of pear & pink grapefruit, with a touch of spearmint laced throughout. On the palate the wine is 'rich & opulent', with a broad oil texture & weight, that gives way to bright, zesty acidity, giving the wine a 'beautifully balance mouth-feel'! The finish is 'rich & weighty', complex and wonderfully long . especially for a white wine! A 'Superior Food Wine' to be enjoyed!

After just only two vintages, I and proud to say that several of the Top Sommeliers and Chefs across the country are working with & offering the wine on their wine lists! I can't tell you how rewarding it is, to have made a white wine that first and foremost "I wanted to drink" . and then to have so many of the Top Somms & Chefs also love it . it's been very gratifying to say the least!
Our goal at PALAZZO WINE is, and always will be, to produce beautiful wines of outstanding quality, with distinction and class! Wines that are both 'powerful and elegant' . and pair well with a broad range of foods . reminiscent of the style and quality of wines that come from the wonderful 'Right Bank' region of Bordeaux, Franc!
