Iam very excited to be releasing my new vintage of PALAZZO 2008 Napa Valley Proprietary Red Wine! It is always with great pride & excitement, as well as with a lot of built up anticipation, that I release a new vintage of PALAZZO wine!
All the hard work involved throughout the wine making process finally culminates when it’s time to actually release a new wine to you ... the public! Hearing and seeing your excitement and appreciation for my wine makes ALL the hard work worth it! The fun of getting to see the smiles on your faces, and reading the emails you send to us about how “delicious the wines are”... and how much you and your family & loved one’s are enjoying them ... is the ultimate pay off ! Nothing is more rewarding! That’s why we try our very best every vintage to make exceptional wines here at Palazzo. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and helped make PALAZZO WINE such a wonderful success!
As always, in this new vintage of PALAZZO 2008 Napa Valley Proprietary Red, Merlot makes up the lion’s share of the blend … giving the wine its sheer power & strength, silky texture, and beautiful layers of dark cherry & blackberry fruit. The Cabernet Franc adds brightness, acidity and ‘floral overtones’ to the wine … with the Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure and character to the wine … with hints of smoke, cocoa and espresso bean to the finish.
As most of you know by now, my love affair with the wines produced from the Bordeaux region of France began over
30 years ago. Particularly, wines from the small, family owned Chateau’s that dot the rolling hillsides of the beautiful ‘Right Bank’ countryside of St. Emilion & Pomerol. It is from there that my inspiration and passion for producing PALAZZO WINE continues to come.
Our goal at PALAZZO WINE is, and always will be, to produce beautiful wines of outstanding quality, with distinction and class! Wines that are both ‘powerful and elegant’ . . . and pair well with a broad range of foods . . . Reminiscent of the style and quality of wines that come from the wonderful ‘Right Bank’ region of Bordeaux, France!
